Student Council don't forget we are walking to the Basin Friday, May 20th at 11:30 following Spirit Day. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. As always, wear you Student Council shirts or sweat shirts.
Don't forget Student Council will be walking to the Basin in the morning on April 29th and May 20th to beat the heat. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and a change of clothes on the 29th if you are wearing something for Career Dress up Day that would be too hot.
Dear Student Council Member and Volunteers,
You are cordially invited to the Yucaipa City Council meeting on Monday, April 11 at 6 PM in
order to be formally recognized as an Adopt-a-Trail volunteer for your work with the Wildwood
Elementary School: Student Council in keeping the Wildwood Creek Basin Trail clean, safe and
free of litter for our greater community. You will be receiving a volunteer certificate from the
Yucaipa City Council and Mayor Hoyt.
It is imperative that you RSVP to Mrs. Bader, Wildwood Elementary site secretary by
Thursday, April 7 at noon so that the City Council staff can print the certificates and prepare for
the meeting. Per City of Yucaipa guidelines, if you do not RSVP to this event then a certificate
will not be awarded to you.
Also, our liaison with the City of Yucaipa has stressed to me that if you do indeed RSVP to
attend and find that you are unable to attend the event after all, please let Mrs. Bader know by
the end of the school day on Monday, April 11 in order for the City of Yucaipa staff to remove
your certificate from the presentation folder for their meeting. The City Council prefers that all
attendees be present when there is called for their award. If this is the case, your award will be
mailed to the school by city staff but only if you have RSVPíd previously.
